VIRTUAL CHURCH: Due to restrictions on in-person gatherings, St. Paul's worship, study & fellowship will take place online until further notice. Get details on how to access virtual video programs, including worship, meditations, and Worship & Wonder here: www.stpauls.net/virtual. More details on each service follow.

YOUR INPUT NEEDED! We are asking everyone to fill out a survey on your experiences with virtual church, and your hopes for the future of worship and activities at St. Paul's. This will help the church plan our immediate next steps, as well as our vision for the ways we gather long-term. Please click here to fill out the online form (by next Wednesday) or contact office@stpauls.net to get a paper copy.

WELCOME NEW MEMBER Brandi Reach! Brandi joined St. Paul's during our 9:02 Zoom last Sunday. You can mail a welcome note to her at 856 Stroud Circle, Wake Forest, NC 27587.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER is tomorrow - Thursday, May 7. To join us together in prayer with other Disciples across NC, the region will be posting prayers led by different pastors throughout the day on their Facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/CCinNC/

ZOOM LINKS: Due to security/privacy concerns, we will be sharing all Zoom Meeting ID's in our midweek email rather than on the website. Feel free to invite and share these meeting IDs with friends or neighbors, but do not post them publicly. If you want to call in by phone, dial this number and use the Meeting ID/Password listed below: (929) 205-6099.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ADULTS & FAMILIES: There are two opportunities for virtual Sunday School for adults and families! Adults of all ages are invited to join a Zoom Sunday School class Sundays at 10:00am (link above). We will be using a curriculum called The Present Word; click here to view the May Participant's Guide that features daily Bible readings and additional background for our Sunday discussion. Family Sunday School is also available from Sparkhouse, designed for children ages 2 - 11. This curriculum includes a video featuring music and stories, as well as downloadable activity sheets. Click here for more details!

GIVE ONLINE: While we are not meeting in person, we invite you to keep giving to St. Paul's so that we can continue to do the work of the church in these uncertain times. Your generosity equips the church to care for the most vulnerable in our communities, while continuing to pay the salaries of our staff. Online giving is easy; click here to begin.

HELEN WRIGHT CENTER BREAKFAST:  St. Paul's will deliver sack breakfasts to 15 women sheltering at the Helen Wright Center on Sunday, May 31. If you would like to contribute items for the breakfast bags, please contact Enid Tallmer.

ST. PAUL'S BOOK CLUB plans to meet via Zoom on Tuesday, May 19 to discuss Plainsong by Kent Haruf. Contact Amanda Sinodis with questions.

"ACTING ON FAITH" BOOK CLUB: Every Monday night at 8pm (through May 11), Chalice Press invites you to a virtual book club discussion on Acting on Faith: Stories of Courage, Activism & Hope Across Religions. The final meeting next Monday is on Chapter 6: Interreligious Conflict. Join the discussion each week here: https://zoom.us/j/719813557 (Meeting ID: 719 813 557).

SHARING ST. PAUL'S COMPOSTING JOURNEY: On Tuesday, June 9th, Cathy Cralle-Jones will be speaking at the NC Composting Council’s Annual Meeting to talk about St. Paul’s Green Team and our experience setting up our composting program. The meeting is free and open to the public, so all are welcome to attend. The program will be online from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Three other speakers will be talking about what the State is doing to promote composting, what is happening in the schools and efforts across the US. Click here for more info and to register to attend. If you have any questions, please reach out to Julie Moore.

COMPOST CONTRIBUTIONS: The compost bin at church continues to be picked up, though on a less frequent basis. Please feel free to keep dropping your home compost in the church bin outside the Fellowship Hall kitchen door. If you would like to make a contribution to the cost of compost pickup ($100/month), please write "Compost" in the notes of your check or online donation.

HELPING EACH OTHER: Financial assistance may be available to people in need through St. Paul's Minister's Contingency  Fund. Contact Diane or Amanda if you have a need or know someone who does.
