Consent is an agreement freely given, reversible, informed, enthusiastic and specific (FRIES) between participants to engage in sexual activity.
The definition of consent has been evolving from “no is no” to “yes is yes” to “(when) yes is no” as human beings’ evolve ethically and as the rape culture is being left behind.
On April 29th, 2020, Oyku Buykdere, M.A. from Animal Save Movement gave a very important training on consent and why it’s important to talk about it and educate ourselves.
