Monitoring the Crisis in Real Time
The American Voices Project (AVP) is expanding its mission to monitor the effects of the crisis on everyday life. By adapting its “patented” face-to-face interview to a new remote mode, the AVP is able to continue delivering the country’s first nationally-representative study based on immersive conversations about everyday life. In partnership with a coalition of Federal Reserve banks, the AVP will be providing real-time reporting on how the country is faring, with a special focus on people of color, the low-income population, and other groups that are disproportionately affected by the crisis.
