Since early spring, Virginia and the nation have endured uncertain times along with elevated stress levels. One thing many of us have found helpful for combating stress is rediscovering the simple benefits of working the soil. As a way of coping, many have turned to gardening for a sense of solice, peace and a way to establish some kind of normalcy during a time that is anything but normal. As seasoned gardeners, we are big advocates of the therapuetic qualities of connecting with nature thru gardening. Simply put...gardening is medicine for the soul.
