Cameron's Sunday Morning Worship Recap
Esther 1:1-12, May 17, 2020
Sixth Sunday of Easter
Whether truth or fable, Queen Vashti summoned the courage to defy the establishment by saying NO to practices of personal violation during a time when women were perceived as chattel or possessions. What a shero!!! This was indeed an act of High-Quality Love. May this story also inspire us to say NO to persons, places, practices or things that disrespect, dishonor or violate who we are as individuals and families. Setting boundaries that affirm our lives are acts of
High-Quality Love and you deserve to be loved in the highest form.
Singing of Comfort and Hope Strange, uncertain times bring us the need, the longing, really, for comfort, hope, and healing. Music can touch those needs and help us express our longings. So, Cameron, what are your go-to hymns/songs for finding/evoking peace and hope in these uncertain times? We want to be able to sing some of these songs in our time for Prayers during our online worship. Please send your suggestions for Hymns/Songs of Comfort and Hope to Jeremy McLeod at Musicandarts@cameronchurch.org.
Betty and Thelma are reunited! Thanks to all for prayers.
Cindy is feeling better and is on a medication to help.
Yvette is happy that her mom, Effie, fixed the piano!
