One of the most powerful things you can do for yourself on a routine basis (every quarter, for example)...

Is to audit all areas of your life.

Audit and assess where you're at.

Because without a clear and honest understanding of this, you really cannot move forward or reach your goals.

It's like using Google Maps without any starting address...

Good luck.

I do this often but recently (still going through it, honestly) I was pushed to do it on a much deeper level and it's been insanely eye opening, so I wanted to share it with you.

It's something called "The Fact Map" by Wake Up Warrior.

Essentially a workbook that takes you through each area of your life and gets you to open up about the facts within those areas.

Looks like this:

- What are the facts about _____ (insert area; health, body, relationships, etc.)?

- Share your feelings about each of them (i.e. what's the initial feeling that arises from this?)

- Explain exactly what's working and what's not working in your life.

- What are the stories in your head associated with these things, working and not working? What behaviors do those stories initiate?

- What are the exact actions required to a.) continue what's working more or b.) stop what's not working for you?

- Lessons learned.

And if you take it seriously... WOAH. 

You learn a lot about yourself and become vulnerable enough to open up and SEE what your actual focuses need to be.

Or what is actually holding you back (often not what you realize).

But really...

It all boils down to 2 things:

#1 - AUDIT YOURSELF.

If you cannot take a brutally honest audit of yourself and your life every once in a while, you're not going to get far.

And it's not always easy to admit the truth.

But it's required for results in any area.

#2 - AWARENESS.

That's all we're trying to create here.

Awareness around who you are, what you do, and what needs to change or continue.

It's building a sense of clarity in your life.

And now, your homework (if you're a growth minded individual):

ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ABOVE!

Pick 2-4 things in each category or question.

And remember...

The only way to see change, is to change.
