Don't forget you can still help out with donations for the St Alban's and St Patrick's food bank service for those in need due to the COVID-19 health crisis and economic shutdown.
The St Matthew's family has been asked to assist specifically with the donation of non-perishable food stuffs and grocery items that the food bank is low on supplies of. These items include:
- tea, coffee
- muesli bars
- crackers
- cooking sauces
- tinned food
- breakfast cereals
- pasta
- noodles
- long-life milk
Items can be left during the day in the St Patrick's Mt Lawley hall at Cnr Beaufort St & First Avenue, Mt Lawley. There is a table outside the door to place donations on if there isn’t someone at the office at St Patrick's.
If you are unable to get to St Patrick's but would like to donate items, you are welcome to drop them into St Matthew's on a Thursday between 10am and 3pm, when Janine will be in the office. We will ensure these items are delivered to St Patrick's in a timely fashion. Please do not leave items outside the church on any other day as we cannot guarantee they will be found by church staff.
If you would like to help out with this valuable work in any other way, or are in need, feel free to contact St Alban's (08 9328 8071) or St Patrick's (08 6114 1013) directly, but the above is their most urgent need at the moment.
