As COVID-19 presents a prophetic moment, adopt an Economy of Life, urge global religious groups
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a new urgency to adopting an “Economy of Life,” and global religious groups that represent millions of people are saying now is the time. In a joint message, the World Council of Churches, World Communion of Reformed Churches, Lutheran World Federation, and Council of World Mission urged governments to bolster support for healthcare and social protection. In an interactive digital gospel service, the chairman of the Council of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), Bishop Heinrich Bedford-Strohm, promoted courageous changes in church and society. European Regional Pre-Assembly for WCC 11th Assembly
CEC, as regional ecumenical organisation (REO), cooperating with the World Council of Churches (WCC), will hold the European Regional Pre-Assembly ahead of the WCC 11th Assembly. The Pre-Assembly will take place from 18 to 20 February 2021 in Warsaw, Poland, in cooperation with the Polish Ecumenical Council. Read more

The Church Action on Labour and Life (CALL) Network will hold a conference “Wellbeing of Digitalized Societies and Work Place” from 11 to 13 March 2021 at the Cultural Center Saint-Thomas in Strasbourg.
