New Report: In-Store Impact Of Active Deterrence Technology
In 2019, the Loss Prevention Research Council worked with CVS Health to better understand the effect of implementing the Indyme SmartDome Active-Deterrent System on shrink, offender deterrence, customer impact, and overall employee sentiment. Pre-test and post-test data were collected on shrink and sales, and qualitative interviews were utilized to further study the impact of the system. The goals of the research were to:
Examine the effects of implementing the technology on shrink and sales
Understand customer, offender, and associate perceptions of the Indyme SmartDome Active Deterrent Technology
Identify ways that the technology can be improved through open-ended feedback from employees, customers, and offenders
