In this edition of Healthy Living by Tobacco Free Allegheny:
Every year, on May 31st, the World Health Organization invites us all to celebrate World No Tobacco Day - a day which serves as a call to action for people across the world to advocate for lung health, stronger policies, tobacco prevention, and cessation.

This year, the campaign's focus is on exposing the tactics that Big Tobacco uses to hook youth.
Are you a TRU advisor, or work directly with youth? Here are some American Lung Association resources to help you plan activities or programming:
No Menthol Sunday is a national observance day dedicated to educating community members about tobacco, vaping, and the role of flavors like menthol.

This year's campaign event was held on Sunday, May 17th, but it's never too late to get involved.

Did you know? The FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) has created a series of webinars on federal tobacco regulations to provide compliance education and information to retailers and small business manufacturers.
