Youth Ministry

End of School Year Party, May 17 at 5pm

Join us this Sunday via Zoom for a Youth Group Talent Show!  And better yet, plan to be one of our acts (no sign up needed!).  All youth and youth advisors are invited to share a talent with the group:  magic, humor, artwork, singing, instrumental music, juggling, sports, and more.  Maybe you have a hidden talent?  Those are welcome too!  Can't wait..don't forget to pop the popcorn!  To attend, please use our regular access link or request one by emailing your name to James Rogers no later than 4:30pm on Sunday.

Montreat (Youth Conferences) Now

Especially in these uncertain times, it's important to remember that we are still connected by our faith and by the hope we have in Jesus Christ. In that spirit, Montreat is gathering the youth and middle school conference communities in this moment. They asked our 2020 conference leadership if they could help us deliver a little "Montreat Now", and they enthusiastically agreed.

Here's how it works:

  • Each Thursday night at 7pm through May 14, Montreat will deliver a little slice of youth and middle school conference so we can be the community now.
  • Our 2020 leaders are helping to bring a variety of songs, prayer, and play your way. Each week will feature a different matchup of leaders for you to meet.
  • Montreat is recording this content so if you miss a Thursday, it will still be there for you. You can find the webinar information as well as the recordings on their website here.

This week's Montreat Now episode will be led by Jerry Chapman, Steve Lindsley, and Clare Parry Lozano (video available starting at 7pm).

We Want to Celebrate Our Graduates!

Are you or is somebody else in your family graduating from high school, college, or graduate school this May or June? If so, we'd love to celebrate this achievement. Please email any graduate information that you may have including the graduate's name, name of school, and any future plans no later than May 15.

Daily Devotional

Looking for an online or app based daily devotional?  Check out www.D365.org.  Featuring Scripture, prayer, and reflection accompanied by gentle music (be sure to turn the sound on!), these brief devotionals are written especially for youth and young adults, but can help us all reflect daily on how God is work in our lives and world.  Another devotional option is These Days.  Check out the free devotions for May.  Additional information can be found on the These Days website.
