Virtual Reading for Children
BCFR staff read the book Just Ask!
Join along as BCFR staff read this inclusive story that embraces children with a variety of differences like diabetes, autism, ADHD, asthma, blindness, and many more. Just Ask! won the 2020 Schneider Family Book Award which honors an author or illustrator for the artistic expression of the disability experience for child and adolescent audiences.
We hope children of all ages will see themselves or their friends in this story, and each one will understand that we’re all different – and that we all have things in common.
