May Update from AAA Play 

Keeping fit, active and socially connected are extra important in times of challenge and change. There's some exciting new opportunities becoming available as restrictions are slowly lifted. Keep an eye out on our Find a Sport or Recreation Activity page to see what's available in your area. In the mean-time we've launched Find an Activity for Home to help keep you entertained and active.

Get Active Outdoors

While we wait for sport and recreation to resume, some of the restrictions have been eased, allowing a few more outdoor activities than before. Here are some ideas to get you going:

  • Boat ramps are open to recreational boating and fishing
  • Fishing from the beach is allowed
  • Golf courses are open (club rooms remain closed)
  • Equestrian centres are open
  • Lawn bowls, croquet, bocce and petanque courts are open
  • Tennis courts are open (club rooms, indoor sitting areas, change facilities and showers remain closed)
  • Shooting and archery
  • Hang gliding
  • Parks and beaches are open
  • Go for a walk, run, ride your bike or do an online exercise class
  • Public playgrounds, outdoor gyms and skateparks will open.
  • Up to 20 people can participate in outdoor group sport and exercise activities
  • Public playgrounds, outdoor gyms and skateparks are open
  • Indoor and outdoor swimming pools can be opened
