Nothing catches God by surprise. Me, not so much. Still, I'm happy to follow God's lead. Right now, it is fun to watch digital Bible distribution keep increasing, in spite of, and maybe partially because of the challenging conditions in the world.
2,892,026 Scripture deliveries came directly from our web sites in April (new one-month high record).
937 Bible translations in 790 languages are on eBible.org and related sites, all publicly accessible.
2,500 Bible translations in 1,622 languages are in the Digital Bible Library (DBL). 109 of those are publicly accessible and also available on eBible.org. Many of the rest are accessible through apps like YouVersion. I help contribute Bible translations to the DBL.
What do those numbers mean? To me, they mean that we are reaching more people with God's Word in more languages. This is seed sown towards a bountiful harvest of people rescued from destruction and destined for eternal life with Jesus Christ. Glory to God!
Computer hardware doesn't last forever. This is a picture of one of the disks from a hard disk drive I had been using for over 5 years showing how it died. Fortunately, I never entrust any important data to just one hard drive, so I recovered nicely. I also had a computer monitor die this month. But thanks to you, our partners, we can afford to repair and replace hardware as necessary, as well as fund the costs of domain names, web servers, custom software development, and commercial software necessary to keep this ministry going.
