The City is planning for the safe reopening of some public facilities starting from next week. The State Government has set strict rules for opening public facilities and the City is implementing a COVID-19 Safety Plan. 

For the safety of our community and City employees, all safety actions will be enacted prior to reopening.
 
Customer service desk reopening

The City anticipates reopening the Administration Centre for limited services from 8.30am on Wednesday 20 May. You can also continue to access many services online. Social distancing must be observed while visiting the Administration Centre. Opening hours will be Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm.

 
 

Subiaco Library

Subiaco Library will reopen at 9.30am on Monday 25 May for a maximum of 20 patrons at a time. Loans, returns and 30 minute public computer sessions will be available. Library events and programs remain on hold.

Lords Recreation Centre

Lords will reopen in a limited capacity for current members only from 6am on Tuesday 26 May. The centre will resume group fitness classes, pool sessions and sports court hire with a number of conditions in place.
 
All sessions must be booked in advance. Sports court hire is available to existing hirers only, with restrictions. Read more
 
 

Getting back to business

The City is supporting local businesses to prepare for their safe reopening by providing information and guidance on the new restrictions.

COVID-19 COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Community grant applications open
Grants up to $5000 are available for community groups and organisations to deliver community support initiatives. The City is looking to fund activities for mental health and wellbeing, homelessness, employment and career development, community safety and more. Applications close on Monday 15 June. Find out more

Youth achievement grants
Grants are available for young people aged 12 to 25, who live or go to secondary school in the City. Grants can support equipment to learn remotely, school or university costs, online courses, virtual events, resources or memberships, coaching or lessons. Apply online.
 
Financial hardship consideration
The City recognises that COVID-19 has financially impacted many in the community. The new financial hardship policy applies to outstanding rates and services charges from 2 April 2020, as well as those levied for the 2020/21 financial year.
 
Ratepayers wishing to apply are encouraged to provide any information about their individual circumstances that may be relevant for consideration. Read more and apply online.
