PTA RECEIVES PLATINUM AWARD
We did it!! We are almost to the finish line. As we all wrap up a uniquely challenging 2019-2020 school year, the Downing Middle School PTA would like to say a huge THANK YOU our teachers, staff, parents and students for your incredible support!! Thanks to YOUR efforts, we earned the Texas PTA's Platinum Membership award, which is reserved for the highest level of participation. A first for Downing Middle School! We are so very proud to be a part of a community that is dedicated to enriching the lives and education of its students and school!

WE LOVE OUR TEACHERS & STAFF!
The Downing PTA Hospitality Committee was able to applaud our wonderful teachers and staff -- even during this time of social distancing. Mr. Martin and his leadership delivered items to teachers' homes during Teacher Appreciation week, and we were able to send along a treat from all Downing students & families. We are so grateful for the teachers and staff that make DMS a great place to learn and grow!
