MV Library Association Update

All six of your island libraries are working together on a phased plan to reintroduce library services that have been suspended due to the current public health crisis. We are consulting with local public health officials as well as following guidance created specifically for libraries for safe handling of circulating materials.

In Phase I of the state reopening plan, libraries are allowed to provide contactless pickup and delivery of library materials. We will plan to introduce these services when we are able to meet the mandatory safety standards outlined in the state reopening plan, and have sufficient available supplies and staffing to safely provide these services. We will be working with our local boards to determine a timeline for providing these services in the coming weeks.

Live, Virtual Programs on Zoom

While the library is closed we'll be offering online workshops using the video meeting platform Zoom. After you RSVP, you'll receive a welcome email containing the information you need to access the workshop. Attendance for all programs may be limited and you will need internet access to participate.
