OurBrainBank Founder, Jessica Morris, reminds us to Go Grey in May! Post a photo or video of your roots and hashtag #GoGreyInMay and #OurBrainBank. Then donate what you would have spent at the salon. And if you're bald, or are already rocking the grey, we want to see you too.
The Brain Donor Project
This is a difficult, but vital topic. Our Voices chat yesterday featured the founder of Brain Donor Project who explained how to support the NeuroBioBank of the NIH by donating brain tissue for research. Any US citizen can sign up — not just people with GBM — and it's free.
StacheStrong is featuring daily GBM stories this month. One of them is from Ed Pilkington, the husband of OurBrainBank founder Jessica Morris.

We’re in the fifth fight against GBM, or TEF as my wife calls her tumor. The Evil F… I’ll leave you to finish the word... As it is, she’s walking around with the herpes virus rampaging around her brain, firing up her immune system to attack the tumor. Take that TEF!

Our featured patient: Deb Dutilh learned about her GBM in a dream. Her amazing story is featured  in "Chicken Soup For The Soul — Dreams and Premonitions." Deb is a 6-year GBM survivor and a volunteer Mentor in our Facebook group.

It's a terribly scary diagnosis, but not a death sentence. We are all unique and just a statistic of ONE.

Today is Clinical Trials Day
May 20th is Clinical Trials Day where we recognize, thank, and applaud the many people involved in clinical trials. Many GBM patients who are long-term survivors have benefited from being on a trial. We need more and better treatments — clinical trials are the path.
