This is a difficult, but vital topic. Our Voices chat yesterday featured the founder of Brain Donor Project who explained how to support the NeuroBioBank of the NIH by donating brain tissue for research. Any US citizen can sign up — not just people with GBM — and it's free.

We’re in the fifth fight against GBM, or TEF as my wife calls her tumor. The Evil F… I’ll leave you to finish the word... As it is, she’s walking around with the herpes virus rampaging around her brain, firing up her immune system to attack the tumor. Take that TEF!

Today is Clinical Trials Day
May 20th is Clinical Trials Day where we recognize, thank, and applaud the many people involved in clinical trials. Many GBM patients who are long-term survivors have benefited from being on a trial. We need more and better treatments — clinical trials are the path.
