A New Dawn, A New Day, A New Life...

“I can’t see the optimism the other side offers,” he said. My client, we’ll call him Dustin for privacy, had been “working on” something awhile and was frustrated. There were places he couldn’t let the energy change—yet—hanging on with those last finger grips to what looked like familiarity and control. 
 
Here’s the thing, whatever you’re working on to shift and make room for your next creation had its wisdom at one point in your life. It’s your current safe place. The shore you’ve been holding onto. 
 
It’s not what he’s working on that’s holding Dustin, it’s his fear of what isn’t on the other side. 
 
The more we grasp how much we are loved, what we are creating with (the Field), the more we realize the power of our imagination for brilliance or pain, in the darkest of times, in the lightest of times.
 
The optimism my client is looking for is a guarantee, not an amazing life. He, like all of us at some point, want to site land first. But then we’d have more of the familiar, another version of what we already have. 
 
That’s not evolutionary change. That’s not transformation. It’s simply growth. 
 
“Imagination is more important than knowledge,” like Einstein said, because it’s a tool that connects us with All That Is, with something Greater, our Higher Self, the Universe, the Divine, that multiplies our imagination into something beyond what we could conceive—or control. 
 
Dawn breaks for us, for you, because there is a life force dancing with us, creating with whatever we give it each day—with our imagination, words, actions, thoughts, feelings, intentions, and trust. As Dustin becomes more invested in his vision than the story of why he is where he is, and his energy is aligned as such, his fingers will loosen from the frightful worst-case scenario and rationalization of the “other side”, maybe even free fall, whooping and hollering all the way into the splash of an amazing new experience where auspicious opportunities will seek him out.
 
Our purpose, our potentials, our greatest love, our true wealth, deepest happiness and belonging, are not packaged in guarantees. They’re in the uncertainty. One of the gifts of Corona Time is its strangeness. Its suddenness. Its unpredictability. Catapulting us into our unfamiliar. Bringing many what they wished for in ways they wouldn’t have imagined.
 
The lie we all buy into at various times…is that this is as good as it gets. What is going on now is real and what I really want to experience isn’t. When it gets good, we can start spins to take a pause, to go back where its familiar, to embrace scarcity and doubt abundance, drawing opportunities to learn again.
 
Remember, the subconscious doesn’t know the difference between what is real and what is imagined. The reason it is important to be discerning about what you watch, read, and put into your mind, the language you craft, is the same reason to be discerning about where you place your attention, what you imagine, and what you intend to create, your trust in the other side. 
 
It’s powerful and creative. You, are powerful and creative.

The moments of our biggest potential transformations are often when we doubt whether we should keep going. “I’m not made for marriage, someone might say to themselves…I can’t afford this investment in myself right now…This writing project is hell…I have so many doubts about what is calling me…”This” is as good as it gets…
 
Never underestimate the power of familiarity to convince you to settle. To doubt. To freeze. To rationalize. In those moments, recognize the story you are walking within. 
 
Jump out of the storybook! And look at the story from the other side. Something really big is breaking through, pecking through the shell of your guard. The guard over your heart, your joy, to break you open. To be reborn. Sometimes it’s blissful. Ecstatic. Sometimes it feels like anxiety. Doubt. Maybe chaos till you wake up and get that you’re out of integrity with yourself and the joy in your vision.
 
Listen.
 
What really holds you is the fear that it WILL change, not that it won’t. And you won’t know what to do with it. Trust instead. That’s what you’re here for. What we doubt is our ability to create something amazing. That we are not alone in any of this. And that the current challenges are creations for our good, the next choice begging to be made.
 
As you’re moving from this tender time, shaking off the clingy pieces of your papery corona time cocoon and whatever its meaning for you, what is the sky you see, the air you breathe, the world you choose to walk into?
 
There is greater love, greater confidence, greater purpose, greater play, depth, and greater abundance waiting for you. Never underestimate the power of imagination to take you there. And when where you are now is truly gone/transformed, you won’t regret a thing. You’ll be so grateful for where you stand, every moment will be worth it.
