          Get Informed. Get Inspired.
As the world kept changing since we've last been in touch, Vladimir Paskaljevic has been busy putting together the video presentations from 2018, 2019 and 2020 Symposiums.

I'll share some of them here and on the WCS Facebook page over the coming weeks. As you ponder your next trip, or the one after, you might find inspiration and information in those amazing stories.
          "Magic of the Magpie"
2020 WCS presentation by Ryan O'Connor from Palmer Rapids, Ontario
          Spring Nastawgan
Spring journal is here, packed with great stories. Our friend Jon Berger will take us on the canoe trip down the Cat River. Along the way, he'll share some of his beautiful sketches. Fred Emery's poem "Kawartha Raven" moved me deeply, and it continues to reverberate through my body and soul. Here's the opening verse:

"I lie awake most of the night,
there are no stars, no moon shines bright.
I hear no haunting call of loons,
they're far away tonight."

Dave Greene (2017 WCS Speaker) followed "In The Footsteps of Herb", inspired by Herb's words in "The Lure of Faraway Places".  Erin Merrick shares the memories of 50-day, 7 girls, 4 packs, 3 boats, 2 tents, 1 barrel...and an infinite source of possibility. Last but not least, read about WCA Fall Turkey Outing!

If you're not reading Nastawgan, you should. Became WCA member and you'll receive it with your membership. Join today!
