Covid-19 - let's look out for one another
We hope you and your families are safe. Help protect our community and our park: please limit your visits to Myatt's to one hour maximum per day and maintain social distancing (2 metres apart from other park users). This allows more people to benefit from nature, prevents overcrowding and reduces risk of Covid-19 infection.
DONATE
Backyard Farms
If you have a big back garden or community space and would like to grow food for the community, we could supply you with plants and support. Get in touch if you have a space to use, or if you would like to volunteer in someone else's space.
Food growing at home
We distributed food seedlings to 250 homes throughout the neighbourhood last week and will give away another 50 indoor sets next week. Huge thanks to our community gardener Fabrice and volunteer Melany who produced and looked after the seedlings.
Myatt's Fields Park pond
It's an ongoing struggle to keep the pond full of water during warmer weather. Until we can afford to renovate it, we are doing our best to keep it filled. A very large water container is filled with tap water, then treated with a pond-safe water conditioner to remove chemicals harmful to pond life before the water is piped in.
Tennis courts re-open
The Government, Lambeth and Lawn Tennis Association have said it is ok to play tennis again, and so Lambeth will re-open the courts at Myatt's on Friday 15th May. Please follow guidelines that will be displayed on each court (1 on 1 unless it is a family, keep a 2 metre distance etc). Go through our booking system to book a court.
