It has been several weeks since Europe, and most of the world, first found itself in the grip of a lock down. We are now watching the tide recede, alas not yet in all countries. For many, some relaxation of restrictions is happening. With that background, thoughts are turning to what will come after and for those in the field of healthcare interoperability there is real optimism ahead. IHE-Europe is now looking towards the 2020 Europe Connectathon Week, 2-6 November 2020, still at the Autoworld Centre, Brussels, with most of the week’s events taking place as originally planned. Below are the latest schedule and details.
IHE-Europe Connectathon – the pivot of the Connectathon Week – will run throughout 2-6 November.
If your organisation was already registered for the March Connectathon, you have automatically received a contract addendum, please review, sign and return as soon as possible, not later than 1 June 2020.
If your organisation wants to register as a new participant for the November Connectathon, registration will open from 1 June and remain open until 15 July.

4th IHE World Summit / IHE-Europe Symposium - on the important theme of “Interoperability in eHealth.”The World Summit programme has been further enhanced. All participants, previously registered and new participants should now select their registration package – the ongoing information link can be found here.
New registration and update to registration information on all other events will be displayed on the IHE-EuropeConnectathon Week website starting 1 June. IHE-Europe continues to monitor the evolution in the relaxation of country confinement measures. On 20 September we plan to confirm the decision to proceed, as travel restrictions to Belgium are progressively lifted; the present evolution looks positive.
