We hope you are well and looking forward to the Republican primary on June 9th.
We have invited ALL candidates in the Republican primary for Congressional District 1 and ALL candidates in the Republican primary for State House seats 99, 110, and 112. The latter represent constituents in East Cooper.
There are 12 candidates in total and as of now we have affirmative responses from everyone.
The program will be as follows:
1) Candidates will attend the luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn. Each will be given time to tell us why he or she deserves our vote.
2) Members and guests are invited to attend the luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn.
3) The hotel is following guidelines regarding seating, therefore, seating will be limited, but we can easily and safely sit 50 people. At the direction of the hotel, the lunch this month will be a box lunch to maximize safety. Boxes will be on the table where food is usually served and you will take your lunch to your seat. Beverages will be provided as always. In addition, the hotel will have hand sanitizer in the room for your use.
4) The meeting will be made available virtually via Zoom, Facebook Live, and will be recorded in its entirety and posted to our website as quickly as possible. Viewers will be muted on Zoom.
5) Guests who attend in person will have an opportunity before and after (as candidates' time permits) to speak with the candidates.
6) The actual program will run from 12:00 - 1:00.

Payment for lunch is required for entry to the dining room. It is the policy of the hotel to charge for all who are standing or seated in the dining room regardless of whether or not they eat lunch. We appreciate your understanding.
