Whilst it is extremely important to follow Government advice and stay at home as much as possible, it can be confusing to know what to do when your child is unwell or injured. Don’t delay seeking help if you have any concerns about your newborn or child being unwell.

Remember that NHS 111, GPs and hospitals are still providing the same safe care that they have always done. For more advice, click the link below.

Sexual and reproductive health, and other health services, are open

Though they are temporarily reducing their face-to-face appointments and may only be able to see emergency or urgent cases in person, health services are still open.

So, it’s best to call services first - you may need to wait to be answered, and you may need to try more than once. You can access services through your GP, local pharmacy and other sexual and reproductive health services. For any urgent issues call 111 or in an emergency call 999 or visit your local accident and emergency (A&E) service.
