Seasonal Recipe of the Month
In one of our fields, stinging nettle (urtica dioica) grows in abundance. As a farmer, it is surprising and humbling to forage for food--I spend so long each day working to create conditions for edible plants to thrive. And here, is one that doesn't need my "help" at all. So, I put on some gloves, picked some, and made some soup! (It's pictured to the left, and note my home garden---cilantro growing in the white container in the background).
