Welcome to the 3rd Issue of Odds & Ends!

3rd time the charm? Glad to have you back for this issue where we've got some more good stuff you will hopefully enjoy.  We've also got our first contest to win one of our new mugs, so make sure you get involved!

A Real Puzzle to Win A Mug

If you have been liking the mugs we've added to our catalogue recently, now is your chance to win one! Below is a puzzle that only has one answer. If you email us the answer before the next newsletter in 2 weeks time you will be put in the hat to win a mug of your choice from our range.

The puzzle involves these 10 keys. The answer will be apparent when found, so if the solution doesn't quite make sense, you might be on the wrong track. Make sure you send us the answer to be in with a chance.

Will it Soft Serve?

Youtuber Matt Gray is living every kid's dream. He's got an ice cream machine in his house. He has no need for McDonalds or Pizza Hut while he has ice cream on tap in his back room.  He's not just putting ice cream through it; that would be too easy. Matt is testing out other food stuffs to see if they will soft serve like your average Mr. Whippy. Some of the food he has put through his machine includes mayonnaise, tea, and hummus.  Some things work better than others so you will have to check out his channel to find out the results.

Name a Colour

There are over 16 million possible colours that can be created on a computer. Most of these colours don't have proper names. You can't describe over 2 million blue colours as just blue, they need something a bit more bespoke. This is where we need your help. The site colournames.org aims to give a name to every single colour. There are over 1.5 million already named, but there are plenty more that need a new moniker.
