Five tips on how these times can be a boost for your Clarity Process

How are you doing? For many of us it is a time of loss; a loss of health, a loss of work, of social contact, freedom, and the things we love to do.

But when there is loss, there is also gain. The art is to see it!

Many people reported to me that they were so very grateful to have the Clarity Process; having the tools to separate mind from moment, having the tools to contact the subconscious to show it that right now right here, you are absolutely fine and that your life is not threatened the way it was when you were an infant, a young child.

We are fortunate indeed. And these are special times. A lot of things unexpectedly changed in a relatively short time frame. A new world view, a new way of relating to others, letting go of habits that were never questioned for years and years. Does it sound familiar? 😉

By simply watching yourself you can learn an awful lot about how your system reacts to changes, to not being able to continue living the old life. I'd like to share 5 tips with you in how these times can be a support for your Clarity Process.

1. Make the shift from approaching it as a nuisance to as something interesting
It is just a small but very powerful shift. The moment you approach it as something interesting it starts to contribute to your Clarity. One of the reasons why we go on retreats for our clarity work, is to bring you out of the ordinary. Because, what brings you out of the ordinary has the potential to open you up to the now! It reveals your patterns and refreshes your consciousness. The corona measures can have a similar effect.

2. Acknowledge the power of the survival fear
The ways in which we work and live together have changed drastically over a short period of time. It is not the virus that brings this about! The virus is simply doing its thing. It is our own survival fear that prompts us to make these drastic changes in all aspects of our life.
The sacrifices that we are willing to make in an effort to care for ourselves and fellows, the speed with which we implement our new behaviors, reflect how we have dealt with the threats we faced as a child. Watching closely what is happening now, can help you understand why the threats back then, even the small or alleged ones, had such a big impact on your life.

3. Acknowledge the creativity that is freed up
Bursts of creativity are coming out! People find all kind of ways to deal with the restrictions. Similar processes happened when you were a baby or a young child. You worked you way around, creating strategies. For example, when you decided to stop trusting your mother, you had to find other ways to relate to her. And you did! On the one hand this is wonderful, because it awakened potentials and strengths in you. On the other hand it is fear that forced you into it. For our work it is important to keep that in mind. So that, when the survival threat is over, we can enjoy the abilities that we developed back then without having to waste life energy by continuously suppressing the painful memories that subconsciously got attached to those abilities.
(For more on this subject, listen to the talk Desires and Transformation)

4. Realize that this huge potential for change that the survival fear is revealing to us now, is also available when we are motivated by love
These times show us how creative and flexible we actually are. This same potential is available for changes out of love. Similar processes are involved, like the missing of the old, the difficulties that go together with not being able to live on the automatic pilot, etc.
Every change that you are inviting by letting go of (relaxing) the old defenses from childhood, is a change out of love. Where fear motivates us automatically, love needs consciousness to be your motivator.

5. Digest the fact that the future cannot be known
This is such a powerful understanding. We point it out in Clarity again and again, but we have a tendency to understand it theoretically and focus on its counterpoint: the past does not exist. 'The past does not exist' gives us a feeling of freedom. It helps us realize that we are not bound to decisions made in another time and body. 'The future cannot be known' is frightening and makes us insecure. But it is exactly the same!
To learn to live with this truth is one of the challenges of awakening. You cannot wake up when you hold on to the idea of a future that can be known. The only thing that is, the only thing that can be known, is the now. Only now is. And the now is your portal to truth, to yourself, to your awaking to who and what you really are.

Would you like some support?

With the current Inner Core group we decided to have monthly Zoom meetings every 4th Monday of the month for 5 months. These meetings are open to everyone who is dedicated to the Clarity Process and using the tools regularly at home. You are happily invited to join! Read more and subscribe.

If you would like individual support, check availability by e-mail. Rates can be found on our website.

Talks on Soundcloud
The above tips came from a series of Zoom meetings we had in April, as we had to cancel our three week retreat in Tuscany. To meet through Zoom was nicer than I could have imagined! The people of the group were pleasantly surprised at how it helped them to stay on track and making steps forward in daily life. Some recordings were made that you can listen to on Soundcloud.
