The Parks & Recreation want to continue the great work of honoring our graduates who live in Sylvan Lake, but not just graduates of high school or college but children and young adults of all ages that graduated this year.
Whether it is pre-school to kindergarten, elementary school to middle school, high school to college, college or the real world!
Let's switch up this "parade" process and let them celebrate with the
GRADUATES in a car parade on Saturday May 23rd at 10:30 a.m..
We will gather all the GRADUATES in cars and will start at City Hall, and head down Inverness taking a loop around Garland and end up at the Community Center. Friends and neighbors can cheer on the graduates from their porch or yard as the GRADUATES roll through the city.
To maintain proper social distancing we are asking driver of the graduates and the Graduates themselves, to remain in their cars but let the parade do the work, as they roll through the streets of Sylvan.
When we get to the community center, graduates will receive a special gift bag to honor their achievement.
