Hi all
We hope that you are keeping safe and well.
In writing this, I've been reflecting on the progress we've made as a YWF community since our April newsletter and the publication of our report into the initial impact of coronavirus.
It's been really impressive to see how everyone is responding in order to keep engaging and supporting young people. The digital offer from YWF Members grows by the day! The collaboration and shared learning across the borough (and beyond) has been effective in making this happen over a matter of weeks.
This progress will continue over the coming months. As a YWF community we now look ahead to how we can work in partnership to plan a safe and cohesive summer programme, informed by the needs of young people. Thank you to those youth workers who have already signed up to be part of our re-started needs analysis, if you're interested in sharing your insight there's still time to get involved...contact matira@ywfoundation.com for more information.
Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week, with this year's theme being kindess. The Mental Health Foundation has created some brilliant resources to help drive conversations on mental health and kindness to create lasting change. At times like these, when the world feels upside down, kindness can be the key to turning things around.
And finally, our We Are Together campaign launches next week. Do visit our social channels from Monday 25th May for something special launching on the Piccadilly Lights...
Take care,
Phil
