Recent events have highlighted the importance of having an emergency fund to protect yourself in times of crisis.

💸 Why is an emergency fund important?

• It can help cover unexpected expenses

• It can prevent you from getting into debt

• It allows you to get ahead of your bills and clear them in full as soon as they come in

💸 I have no spare income how can I save?

There are a number of tools that can help you to see where every penny is going. Budgeting apps such as Emma highlight wasteful subscriptions and app-only banks such as Monzo and Starling allow you to save while you spend with handy 'round-up' features.
