Voting is an important part of our civic duty and is a way to have your voice be heard. Make sure you're ready for upcoming elections. You can check your registration status, the voting by mail rules in your state and if allowed, request an absentee ballot, and then remind others to do the same by visiting http://vote.org/

Today's Daily Generosity Idea

With many states switching to Vote by Mail, some may require a printed registration form. Unfortunately not everyone has access to a printer. If you have a printer at home, offer to print a blank form and help ensure your friends and neighbors are ready for the next election in your area. Or, offer to pay for printing services at your local copy shop. Most importantly make sure you're ready:

  1. Check your registration status here.
  2. Request an absentee ballot here.
  3. Receive a reminder on your 18th birthday to register to vote here. Pass this link onto any young people in your life.

See It In Action

CJ in Florida shared this DIY campaign to encourage others to vote by mail...by sending out 4,000 postcards!
