AGM info and Covid accommodations for gardening

We plan to hold the AGM by WEBEX conferencing system May 27. The meeting will start at 6:30 pm, with a call to order about 7:00. This will allow 30 minutes for us to assess who is attending and to ensure that we have quorum. The Webex meeting invitation will be sent on the 27th.

We don't believe there are any contentious issues to discuss and that it should be a simple meeting to approve the financial statements and approve the Board of Directors for the upcoming year. Below are links to the relevant documents.

Here's the Agenda with the board's reports

If you have any questions or issues that you wish to raise, please try to send them to the chair, Caihla, before the meeting.

Proxy representation: To help ensure that we get a quorum for the AGM and to help you comply with your requirement to attend, you can nominate someone to represent you at the meeting. There will be a message sent later from dt7970@gmail.com via Survey Monkey, you can use the "Proxy" link in that message to nominate someone to represent you. Remember there are two garden members in a plot, both of you should be represented. According to our bylaws, if we don't get a quorum for this meeting a second meeting will be called and whomever attends that meeting is deemed to be quorum.

The following board members intend to continue on the board
Caihla, Dave, Tracy, Eva, Erin, Jennifer, Amanda

Nominations have been received from:
Andrew Wheeler & Tim Thurley

In particular we are looking for a new Treasurer, we have room for 10 people on the BOD.

If you are interested in being on the board contact chair@ykgardencollective.org soon.

Some highlights
- We can use the garden
- We will provide bleach and a sprayer to clean tools and common touch points.
- It is recommended that you use your own tools. if you use the common tools you need to clean the dirt off them and spray them down before and after you use them.
