Lockdown in Aynho. Update.

Following the Prime Minister’s address to the nation on Sunday, the Parish Council is re-opening the tennis court as sports are now allowed in a limited fashion.  We’ve taken the decision NOT to make the court available for private hire during this time in order to maximise the accessibility for everyone.

We’re asking all users to be considerate and if other parties arrive wishing to use the court whilst you are playing, to agree a mutually convenient change over time, not to exceed 45 minutes from when the new parties have arrived.

These guidelines will be displayed at the court so can be referred to in real time.

People from other households (one at a time) are now permitted to meet outside provided they maintain a 2m distance.  This is a great new development and should help to alleviate loneliness and provide some much needed variety!  These are the first baby steps and everyone should still stay home as much as possible and maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.  Full details of the new rules are available HERE.  With any luck the restrictions will continue to be eased over the coming weeks and we can all get gradually back to normal.

As always, stay alert, stay positive and stay kind.
