 Understanding Newcomer Experiences of Inclusion


This webinar will provide an update on the Newcomer Experiences of Inclusion research project. This project examines the connection between newcomers' experiences of settlement, integration and inclusion, and their well-being. Join the project team, Myriam Gerber and Rose-Eva Forgues-Jenkins as they provide an overview of the preliminary data and findings, as well as their next steps. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to support non-profits or charities that serve your community.


The Centre for Race and Culture has been working with the Edmonton community for the last 20 years developing resources and content to promote anti-racism work in Alberta. If you're able to donate, we would greatly appreciate any contribution that you can make towards our organization. Your contribution will go towards the work that we do, and help up promote anti-racism work in our community. A tax receipt will be given for any donations over $50.

Spotlight Series!


This month in our spotlight series we're featuring the Mill Woods Mosaic newspaper. This paper has been around for many years, letting the residents of Mill Woods know all about the variety of events in the community. "The multicultural community newspaper Mill Woods Mosaic is now available online. The paper covers events in the different ethnic communities, provides important information for new immigrants and other newcomers, and serves as a forum for multicultural issues.
