If you can ride a horse, you can fly: Stuart Davis's story

VETERANS' STORIES
Stuart 'Snow' Davis enlisted on 15 August 1941. He heard on the radio: 'If you can ride a horse, you can fly an aeroplane'. Snow and a few horsey mates took the advertisement at face value. After 3 months of basic training, he was selected to start training as a pilot. Watch Snow tell his story .

Observing National Reconciliation Week

COMMEMORATION

Roy (Zeke) Mundine is a Bundjalung man from the northern coastal area of New South Wales. Zeke grew up in Australia at a time when Indigenous peoples had very few rights. Racism against First Australians was a mainstream attitude. Before he served two tours with the Australian Army in Vietnam, Zeke had served in Malaya in 1959. He later became the Australian Army's first Indigenous Elder. Watch Zeke tell his story
