For the past six weeks, we've carefully and methodically examined the data that defines the re-opening and recovery of our economy, and probed the disproportionate impacts within our region. But you won't find the usual collection of charts, graphs and data in this report. Today, we have a different message for the leaders of Tampa Bay.

You're invited to join us for a very special event.

We’ll be hosting a virtual lunch-and-learn and community forum on Wednesday, May 27 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.

During this interactive one-hour session, “COVID-19: Tampa Bay by the Numbers,” we’ll provide the most current data on our economy, track the social and economic impacts of the pandemic, and assess the capacity of our region’s healthcare system as we hope for the best (but plan for the worst).

Whether you’re working from home or back at the office, we encourage you to put the papers aside, grab something to eat and drink, and join your fellow Tampa Bay leaders as we update important metrics and translate the data into real-life impacts.

Following the presentation, we’ll have experts on hand to answer your questions, and we’ll survey participants in real-time on the key issues that our region is facing.

Individually, each of you plays a critical role helping Tampa Bay move forward. This data is the foundation for doing it together.

We hope you can join us.
