Please be advised PAVRO’s Annual General Meeting* will take place virtually this year on June 18th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Please register below.
In order to ensure we have quorum and are able to move ahead with this important annual meeting, we encourage all members to attend. If you are unable to attend, you can download, sign, and return the 2020 PROXY FORMto pavro@pavro.on.ca. Please call 416-907-1007 if you need assistance.

Covid-19 presents unique challenges in the field of Volunteer Engagement. If you are facing a challenge, before you re-invent the wheel, try posting it on the Members' Discussion Board. Chances are, one of your peers has already found the solution you are looking for! Feel free to share your ideas too. We can all learn from each other.
This is a fabulous resource for tapping into our diverse and knowledgeable province-wide community: share resources, knowledge, best practices and trends in the field. The Members' Discussion Board offers very useful information, and the opportunity for PAVRO members to ask (or post) questions, share knowledge and pose opinions and ideas on topics that affect our profession.

**Seeking DIRECTORS for PAVRO's Board of Directors**
We are presently recruiting individuals to fill upcoming vacancies on the PAVRO Board of Directors.
We are intentionally seeking individuals for two positions:
Directors volunteer their time, and play a vital role in shaping PAVRO’s strategic directions and provide ongoing governance to the organization. In turn, Directors are provided with the opportunity to gain experience working with a skilled Board of Directors and contributing to the advancement of the volunteer engagement profession.
The Board conducts much of its work through monthly teleconferences and bi-annual in-person meetings. Board members commit an average of 8-10 hours a month, including attendance at board and committee meetings, providing guidance and support through committee work and other duties. Board members are appointed for a two-year term with the opportunity for renewal.
We are hoping to broaden the diversity of member representation and strengthen our Board through this recruitment call. Therefore, we encourage applications from members outside of the hospital community.
