Hi Oasis!
I hope all of you are doing well and that you're continuing to reach out and form community in new ways while we are socially distant. I wanted to let you know about a few things including an update on our phases for reopening oasis.
First, I want to give a shout out to our upcoming event this Saturday the 16th and that's our first ever Oasis Parade! One fun trend we've seen emerge from this lockdown is Car Parades and we decided we want to get in on the fun too, if for no other reason than to say HI! We miss all of you very much so if you'd like to be a part of the parade, either to be visited by it or to join the car convoy, please register in the events section below. It will have all the info you need to participate.
The next point I'd like to talk about is where we are as far as Oasis reopening it's doors for services. I recently posted on our Oasis Community page that explains in detail why we are doing what we're doing and my heart behind our plans if you'd like to check that out. But I can say that we have decided as a staff to continue to meet online for all services until the end of May. And we are diligently planning on what phase 3 will look like for us as it approaches.
But what we are asking from you now is one, your prayers for us as we seek wisdom from God on reopening services and two, we want to know from you on a volunteer level what you would feel comfortable with from a serving standpoint. Do you feel comfortable if we reopen services about continuing to serve at oasis in the ministry area you held previously, or are you wanting more time at home before coming back to help? If you're an oasis volunteer, we would appreciate you filling out our survey. You can find it on our Covid 19 updates page or you can email john@myoasis.ag.
Continue to stay safe, we look forward to seeing you all again soon! God bless you all.
