It is with a great sadness we share the news that a former Sydney Rangers player and member James Stephenson passed away a few days ago.
James (in the photo below, back row, third from right) was one of the players that took on the challenge of forming the new Cs team (the Newbies as it was fondly known) a number of years ago. In recent years he's been living in regional NSW working in the wine making industry.
Those that played with him remember him for his passion and joy and his love of the theater.
We understand a service will be held in New Zealand with his family shortly. However, with the current restrictions due to COVID-19 no memorial service will take place here at this time, but one is planned for later in the year.
