A coup got moved and the momma mouse got separated from one of the babies. You can hear the baby squeak about halfway through the video. It is a long video as I try to follow the mom to find the baby. Video

As we wind down the commercial sales on our farm, there are 2 farms I can recommend for your continuing meat and poultry needs. The first is Oak Ridge Farms in Zebulon. The farmer is Doug Duong. Doug hosts a farmer's market on his farm on Saturdays. The second is Happy Hen Farm in Louisburg. The farmer is Stephanie Hall. Stephanie is planning on attending Midtown Farmer's Market this season once the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.

Barn work continues. Kelly created a platform over the stairs to comfortably work on the walls and ceiling on the 2nd floor (top photos). Naomi has taken charge of painting (middle). The projects continue with Thomas and Ashleigh's cutting boards (bottom left) and Annabel's rocking chair makeover (bottom right). The rocking chair was broken and discarded in a neighbor's barn but now has new paint and design work.
Mother's Day outing to Yates Mill Pond
The farm crew took a Mother's Day trip to Yates Mill Pond Park near the Beef Unit at NCSU. We borrowed James from the National Guard to join us. We are lucky to be able to quarantine all together.
