GOOD NEWS!

Hello and welcome to our newsletter! Today is Monday, so you'll be excited to find out what song is being released for you to learn for The Kernow Bedroom Choir - the excellent Cornish shanty South Australia! If you haven't had a look at the videos, even if you have no intention of singing along, please do. Dan Woodfield is wonderfully charismatic and does a fantastic job of presenting and teaching the songs.

We're also on to week two of the heritage Drawing Challenge and this week we're asking for drawings of the Bodmin & Wendford Railway, which opened in 1834.

At the end of last week, we emailed you with a link to a survey - I know, not another survey?! I also know that to answer the survey is quite hard, we're asking you about how you think you'll feel in three month's time. But it is quite important. We're trying to figure out how we move forward with planning and programming, will people come to events, even if we're told we can? And if not, will people consider paying to watch online content? It shouldn't take you long, 10 minutes.  But it will will help us and our partners a lot...

Below you'll find a whole list of incredible events, resources and services which will hopefully provide some inspiring activity. I have been blown away by the ingenuity, creativity and determination by organisations and individuals to keep people entertained, connected and motivated.  When we start to see restrictions eased and people begin to venture out again, I know that this creative community spirit will continue and that intoBodmin will be doing everything we can to make sure that people feel confident and able to participate in helping everyone in Bodmin adjust and adapt to whatever the new normal looks like.

Please stay in touch and let us know of all the great things happening that we’ve missed!

Very best,

Fin

Donate
If you love what we do and want to help us get back on our feet once things get a little brighter, please consider donating any amount by Paypal, send us a cheque or email us for bank account details. While we’re really lucky to have funding from Arts Council, Heritage Lottery, Cornwall Council and Big Lottery, there is still a large proportion of our commitment to match fund, which comes from ticket sales and room hires. We're feeling the strain from having to cancel our events and close the doors of the Old Library, and if you can afford to give, every £1 will help.
