As the State of Massachusetts, "reopens" this coming Monday, Whittier Farms has been making preparations for our next steps as well. Our family acknowledges and embraces the new normal that results from the public health crisis. There are still strict guidelines in place for businesses to ensure health and safety remain top priorities as companies across the State reopen during the pandemic. In light of these guidelines and our small store space, Whittier Farms is going to keep our farm store closed to the public. We can not ensure proper social distancing in store with such a small space. However, we will be open for business three different ways for your convenience! As we move forward, we will continue our online and phone-in orders with curbside pick-up. This weekend, we are also introducing our walk-up window!
Our online and phone-in orders continue to be the perfect opportunity for your family's weekly shopping, the planned errands run, and for a quick, easy grocery pick-up. Our walk-up window will be the perfect solution for your quick-stop when you "just need milk" or when your passing by and remember your list of items for dinner. We are still working on exact hours of operation for our walk-up window and we will be adjusting our curbside pick-up hours as many of you return to work. Our hours will be posted for this weekend to our website and our Facebook page.

Our goal is to not only keep everyone who works at and visits Whittier Farms healthy and safe but to ensure both you and our staff are comfortable with your experience at Whittier Farms. We hope having opportunities to shop our farm store online, by phone, and with a walk-up window meet the needs of your family.

As a side note, in an effort to encourage social distancing, our animal visiting area will remain closed at this time and our picnic tables have been removed. We appreciate your understanding and encourage your to enjoy the scenery of our farm during your ride up to our farm store. You can also see some of our cows on pasture from your vehicle driving by now as well.
