Dublin Food Pantry Update
Because of COVID 19, the Dublin Food Pantry has changed their operations in the interest of keeping customers and helpers as safe as possible. They will not be needing us to help in July as we have in the past.
Currently, the pantry is pre-packing boxes of non-perishable food and bags of produce, bread and meat. Customers do not leave their vehicles. They drive up, check in, and the food is loaded for them into their cars. This streamlined process does not require as many helpers. The pantry is currently not doing Choice Shopping.
We pray that in July 2021 the pantry will again have Choice Shopping, and we can help again.
In the meantime, if you want to help, you can donate money directly to the Dublin Food Pantry through their website or by mailing a check to Dublin Food Pantry, 81 West Bridge Street, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
You may also donate food directly to the pantry Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Pantry is located in the lower level of the Dublin Community Church (81 W Bridge St). Enter under the orange awning and proceed to the hallway to the right of the steps.
Here are the pantry’s most needed items (in order of need):
Financial contributions
Disinfectant wipes
Jelly (in plastic jar/container)
Canned condensed soup
Canned vegetables
Oatmeal in single serving packets
Pasta/rice side dishes
Macaroni and cheese boxes
Spaghetti boxes (regular size)
Individual toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Peanut butter in plastic jars, small size
Small hotel-sized soap, shampoo, lotion
Reusable grocery plastic bags
Thank you,
Nancy Shuman

Does the Church Office Have Your Correct Contact Information?
While we are apart, it is more important than ever for the church office to have your correct contact information.
- If you have a new address or phone number, or a change in your family information (wedding, new baby, divorce) please make those changes to your account in Breeze. Or if you prefer, Barb Hoyt will make the changes for you. Email her at barbhoyt@sbcglobal.net.
- Also, and very important, if your adult children are living independently from you, and if you would like for the church office to have their contact information, please email that to Barb as well.
- And while you are at home with your family, why not add your photo to Breeze? To make our Breeze directory complete, we need everyone to participate. Take a family selfie and then upload it to your Breeze profile – or email it to Barb. The best photos are ones that are taken in landscape mode (turn your phone sideways).
Thank you for your help as we try to keep our records up to date.

No Vacation Bible School This Summer
Sadly, we have decided to postpone VBS until 2021. Like many of you, we were looking forward to sharing a fun summer biblical experience with our children and parents based on The Rocky Railway: Where Jesus Pulls Us Through.
The VBS train will roll into town next summer in 2021! So save your ticket and be ready to board when we can all be safe together again. We look forward to traveling with all our kids, ages 4 through 5th grade.
I will be contacting families who signed up for VBS 2020.
