OER (Open Educational Resources) is becoming more important during the pandemic as teachers and parents look for resources to help students learn.  Open Educational Resources are freely available educational materials that can be downloaded, customized, and shared without worrying about copyright. They can take many different forms, from comprehensive curriculum, similar to traditional series we know and use, to supplemental resources like individual learning objects that can be used on their own or curated into units for teaching and learning.

Hear more from Kristina Ishmael senior project manager of the Teaching, Learning, and Tech team for the Education Policy program at New America in her podcast series.
