Good News for Worship Assembling

Many of our church members here in western Washington are understandably eager to return to regular assembly for worship. And there is some good news this week with the state's guidelines for reopening:

  • Churches in Phase 1 counties may gather for drive-in or outdoor services with up to 100 people attending. This can be done multiple times in a day. Physical distancing needs to be practiced and masks are highly recommended.
  • Churches in Phase 2 counties may have inside church services with 25% capacity of the building or up to 50 people (whichever is less). This can be done multiple times a day. Physical distancing needs to be practiced and masks are highly recommended (especially for times of singing).

As conscientious Seventh-day Adventists who proclaim a message of health and wholeness, we care for one another and the stewardship of our collective good health. Let's continue to work together to keep our church family and community healthy as we responsibly reopen our spiritual services.

New Plans for #WACampMeeting

Our camp meeting planning team restarted from scratch to pull together this year's Virtual Week of Prayer. A lot of prayer, planning and partnership are going into this program!

This will be a new way for us to gather and we greatly look forward to the time when we can assemble together again in person.

Each day, we will email you a daily worship guide with prayer prompts, devotional reflections, kids activities, stories and more. This will arrive in your inbox at 7 am.

Twelve hours later at 7 pm, the evening program will begin for families on Facebook Live and YouTube. You'll see 60 minutes of music, stories, a sermon by Washington Conference pastor, and then a prayer time. Children's programming will be released daily on YouTube for on-demand viewing on your schedule.
