Good News for Worship Assembling
Many of our church members here in western Washington are understandably eager to return to regular assembly for worship. And there is some good news this week with the state's guidelines for reopening:
- Churches in Phase 1 counties may gather for drive-in or outdoor services with up to 100 people attending. This can be done multiple times in a day. Physical distancing needs to be practiced and masks are highly recommended.
- Churches in Phase 2 counties may have inside church services with 25% capacity of the building or up to 50 people (whichever is less). This can be done multiple times a day. Physical distancing needs to be practiced and masks are highly recommended (especially for times of singing).
As conscientious Seventh-day Adventists who proclaim a message of health and wholeness, we care for one another and the stewardship of our collective good health. Let's continue to work together to keep our church family and community healthy as we responsibly reopen our spiritual services.
