Juan loves working at his own pace in the quiet Adult Education classroom at Community Health Partners. Juan showed up to study DAILY and chipped away at each subject over several months. He started with his favorite subject, math, and left reading for the end... He aced the HiSET in March. Nice work Juan!
His parents are his biggest supporters. Thanks Mom and Dad.
After the HiSET he plans to get a job. He might work in construction or get an apprenticeship. In his free time he likes trail riding on four-wheelers and dirt bikes! He dreams of owning his own house on some land in the country. He also plans to travel. Spain is high on his list, but so is Las Vegas. He's a huge Raiders fan, note the hat... The Raiders are moving from Oakland to Vegas soon in case you didn't know.
Juan’s advice for anyone thinking of furthering their education: "If you want to do it, JUST DO IT."

We have subscribed to Essential Education. You can prepare for the HiSET with their HiSET Academy OR take their Money Essentials class OR take their Computer Essentials class. All are free for students enrolled in our program. Just talk to Sheila. She will help you get started.
