At last week’s Teaching & Learning Cafe, we began a fascinating discussion about course design!

One of the core tenants of the Center for Learning in Practice – Sustainable Learning Framework is the ability to Reflect on Practice and on Actionable Data.

Tomorrow, we will share some practical tips on how to use data from past experience to inform course re-design.

This will be followed by a community discussion about how you might be able to use data from this semester to inform course improvements for the next semester. Come prepared to share your experience working with data and any specific data points you’ve found useful in course re-development.

The format of the Café will be:

10:00 AM EDT    Introductions
10:10 AM EDT    Data-Driven Course Design - Key Learning
10:30 AM EDT    Community Discussion
10:55 AM EDT    Close

There is so much data captured by education technology, let’s work together to make the data work for you!

The purpose of the Café structure is to enable more intimate and deeper conversations than a webinar can provide. The Café will be limited to 60 people. The Café will be recorded and the videos will be posted in our community portal.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Dr. Diana Woolis
Director, Center for Learning in Practice
