The results of the worship survey will be published in The Current for June 2020.

This week’s offering totaled $9,474.00 Thank you!

Graduate Celebration Parade this Saturday, May 30, at 1:00 PM. We want as many people as possible to come out to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of these students! We will gather at the LYCC Parking lot at Gardner-Webb at 12:45 PM and then drive over to the church at 1:00 PM to parade past and encourage any of our recent graduates who wish to attend! Feel free to decorate your cars, make some posters, and bring cards for any of our graduates! Any and all of our recent graduates are invited to be a part of this parade! If you are a recent graduate and are interested in participating, please send an email to heidi@boilingspringsbaptist.org or call the church office (704-434-6244) so we know to expect you! We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

This week is Graduation Sunday. We will have a special message from Macie Greene, granddaughter of Tommy and Connie Greene, and music from Lindy Bryson.

BSBC Youth and their Families: The Youth will be beginning a summer bible study and their summer schedule on Monday, June 1. Jeremiah Hamby will be meeting over Zoom with the Youth on Wednesday, May 27, at 6:00 p.m. and the Youth Parents at 6:45 p.m. to discuss the plans for the summer. Important information will be given out that night, so all Youth and Parents should attend their meeting if at all possible. A link will be sent out over GroupMe for the Youth and email for the Parents that afternoon for the meeting. If anyone has any questions, they can contact Jeremiah by phone (828-499-1398) or email (jhamby2@gardner-webb.edu).

Online Sunday School Classes have been a great way to have a Sunday worship experience together and stay connected in general. Contact your teacher if your class is meeting and you have been out of the loop. If you would like to visit another class online, please contact the teacher of the class you are interested in.

Coffee (or other favorite beverage) with the Pastor: Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. We will be looking at Jeremiah 29.  This is a weekly time of prayer, devotion, and catching up with others. Everyone is welcome to participate! Keith McKinney is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89665537337
Meeting ID: 896 6553 7337 This same ID number will work every week.

Sunday services are available on YouTube! You will also find children’s services and some Sunday School videos. Catch up on anything you have missed! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCTWJY9ZmIQRDKCuN2Nz4cg/videos
If you know someone who does not see the YouTube videos and would like to receive DVDs, please contact the church office. Past services are available.

Thank you for generous donations to The Food Pantry! Your gifts keep this vital ministry going. We are open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 - 11 a.m. Food will be left outside the office under the brick archways with clear instructions for what people should take.

Food Pantry needs: Pop Tarts, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese, and Jiffy Mix. If you would like to make a shopping trip, please contact Ellen Humphries or the church office to coordinate all our efforts.

Sunday School Quarterlies, Mature Living, Reflections, and Home Life are available in the Prayer Room.

Be Together Bags are filled with fun, simple activities and projects for children and families, and are available each week on Tuesday mornings in the Prayer Room (which is always unlocked). The bags are labeled with name tags. We hope this ministry will help provide families with fun things to do together.

The Prayer List is being emailed to everyone who receives the Weekly Update. It will not be shared on social media, and we ask that you do not share as it contains personal information. Please direct anyone who is out of the loop to send their email address to the church office.

Online Giving is being highly effective for our church. You may give to the general budget, Food Pantry, youth and children's programs, missions, and more. Text BSBC to 73256 for a link to the same site to donate by phone. You may call the church office on Monday mornings to give with a credit card.

If you are willing to make a grocery store or pharmacy trip for those who are especially vulnerable and should not leave home at all, please let the church office know. Likewise, if you are in need, please call. The office number is 704-434-6244.

Social distancing is still important! The numbers of people infected continue to rise. A person can be contagious without showing symptoms. Here are a few helpful links to find the latest information: CDC coronavirus page; CDC page for at-risk populations; NC Dept. of Health and Human Services coronavirus page. You may Dial 2-1-1 or text COVIDNC to 898211 to receive general information and updates from the NCDHHS. Please pray for our national, state, and local leaders as they navigate this difficult time.

Old Church Windows are still available for $15.00, bulk quantities are $10.00 each. If you have picked up a window, please remember to pay for it. These make good stay-at-home wall art projects.

Zoom has become the app of choice for many Sunday School classes and other meetings both at BSBC and elsewhere. If you receive a link for a Zoom meeting, that link will take you to the Zoom website, help you install Zoom, and then take you right to your meeting. If you have a meeting ID number instead of a link, you can join the meeting through the Zoom website (https://www.zoom.us/join). Zoom is easy to use, and user tutorials are available here https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206618765-Zoom-Video-Tutorials
