Sai Prema Foundation’s “Annapoorna” Project has been successfully running for 4 years whereby they assist underprivileged and needy families with monthly food and grocery needs. In 2018 and 2019, the Foundation distributed approximately 60,000 meals through their monthly grocery supply to underprivileged and needy families as well as to institutions around Fiji.
COVID-19 has brought a new set of challenges and many are directly affected due to job losses or reduced hours of employment. In response to this, Sai Prema Foundation has stepped up its efforts by identifying these individuals and their families and have embarked upon a mass distribution drive.

Project Coordinator and Trustee of Sai Prema Foundation, Mrs. Maya Tappoo has said that they are doing their best to look after as many families as possible. In the month of May, just over 14,000 meals were served and they are targeting a larger number in June.

We are pleased to inform that our compassionate Lord has blessed us all to receive the wisdom from the great Upanishads, introduced as a new series, ‘Swadhyaya’ by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, from June 2nd, 2020 on Sanathana Vani at 8 PM IST Daily. This new series has begun with Katha Upanishad and will be made available on other platforms soon.
Swadhyaya is a Niyama (virtuous observance) connoting introspection and self study. Swami has commanded all of us to do ‘Swadhyaya’ on the Upanishads everyday.
Under the guidance of our Divine Master, let us learn these profound teachings of Vedanta and follow Him in the path of Self Realization by imbibing them.
