Member News

This month's newsletter will focus on the resources that AYPH has published during the lockdown. We wanted to highlight some of the work we have been doing that may have been overlooked during the pandemic response and share the resources with a wider audience.

AYPH Resources

A collection of our recent work carried out during lockdown can be found below, including resources, articles, blogs and briefings.

COVID-19 Specific Resources
Young Women & Health Inequalities

The young women's charity Agenda has launched their #GirlsSpeak project earlier this year, and we were pleased to take part in an expert seminar to discuss issues facing girls and young women, with a particular focus on inequalities and young women facing poverty and violence.  See their website for more details.

COVID-19 Young People & General Practice

AYPH will be presenting a webinar in association with the Vale of Trent Faculty and the RCGP Adolescent Health Group. The webinar will consider the potential impact of the COVID-19 crisis on adolescents and young people, the changes in the way healthcare is provided to them and how this may affect their health needs, as well as examples of best practice when consulting with young people remotely and how we can support health professionals working with young people. A recording of the webinar will be available on the AYPH website in July.

Young People's Advisory Group

AYPH is delighted to announce that we will be soon be establishing a youth advisory group. Recruitment will take place over the summer and we will share all the details in our next newsletter.
